Accelerating Computational Reproducibility in Economics (with BITSS)
With the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS), we proposed 3-year initiative to improve computational reproducibility in the field of economics, under the title Accelerating Computational Reproducibility in Economics (ACRE). Goals are
- capacity building for economics researchers (=training) to facilitate adherence to new journal policies that put a stronger focus on computational reproducibility.
- Test new methods for systematically sourcing and cataloguing post-publication verifications of computational reproducibility, in particular in a classroom setting.
